There was a very renowned Turkish sage, he was very famous because he was wise and always found a solution.

And one day 3 monks came and said:

We want to meet him, let's meet him! to learn. Upon arrival the 3 monks greeted him, and what was his surprise? That he was a Sufi. You will have heard of Sufism. They are extraordinary, they started this religion, belief system or philosophy, both. Before Islam and where it thrived was in Turkey.

Sufis lead a very normal life, they get married, they have children, they believe in God, in his prophets, in his saints. But they lead a very straight life. What does straight mean? That, with a family, having a job, what they do, above all, is keep their word, they don’t lie, they always speak the truth and each one has a profession and each one works what is suitable but there is always a moment in the day when they gather to read the sacred books, pray, ask for favors for towns, for people, for the sick and they know very well that with these prayers they can heal, they can help and they can give everything.

The Sufis are also these religious people who need when they pray, they do something like a chant, they sing or do their prayer, but with their voice, that is, not in silence. And they go at a pace that starts very soft and ends faster and a movement of the head and body. Back to front, front to back. Like a movement and they go around, they go around.

Others do it in circles, dressed in white, with a kind of, I don't know how I could call it, quipi, it's called, with a conical hat of the same color, white and they start to go around, around and simply move one foot. The right foot is almost fixed, it rotates on the ground while the other foot pushes to spin. They don't get dizzy but they do fall into a kind of direct connection with the Light, direct connection with God.

Some get messages, some are just Enlightened, it's something extraordinary, so our sage was a sufi. The two monks said: How lucky we are! Sufis generally spend their lives always, every day, every day to study and always speak the truth, tell the truth, never lie. Never! And always walk a straight path and it's like a group of colleagues or a group that will always help those who need it most, but always as a group.

They arrive, they help them to do the house or the work they are doing and once they have finished, they leave. They live without luxuries, simply with the comforts they need. No more, no less and with great respect for the Universe and the Creator.

The first monk said to him: May I ask you a question? And he said: Yes. Very kindly.

Sufi master, could you tell me where the center of the earth is? And he answered him: where the left leg of my ass is, of my donkey. The monk was surprised, said nothing and left.

The second monk approached him and said: Master Sufi, how many stars are there in the sky? And he answered: the same stars as hair on my donkey.

The monk was surprised, bowed and withdrew. When the third arrived he said:

Sufi master, how many hairs do I have in my beard?

Then the teacher replied: the same amount of hair that my donkey has on its tail. And how are you so sure? the monk told him.

Well, pluck the hair out of his tail and pluck every hair out of his beard and lay them side by side and you can tell if you have the same amount.

He bowed and left, all three disappointed, very disappointed!

My seeds, when there are people who want to ask smart questions, there are smart answers, when there are other people who go just to measure their intelligence, knowledge, wisdom, then they have the right answers and that is what the Sufi master replied to the three monks, they never came back.

And the Sufi master continued with his work, he was a potter, he was making bowls, and also pots, he continued, and when he finished, he put them to dry and ended his day singing his prayers and his prayers for Heaven, so that some who fall, be of this planet earth that can find peace and cease war.

Think about it my seeds, that many times we get stunned when we are in front of a teacher and we don't know what to ask and we ask an incongruous question, no matter how simple it is but it is worth it, that it is worth it and in this way we will receive answers to what we we deserve
