We could say that it is like the Ukraine, now today, but it was not that, and there were, as always, two enemies. And a soldier came, ran into the trench and went to look for his captain, and said:

Captain! I have to go look for my friend, because he has stayed behind and he is alone. They have killed everyone and he and I came running to save ourselves, but he stayed behind and has not come. I've asked everyone and they haven't seen it.

Then the captain looked at him and said:

• It is useless for you to go, I resolutely forbid you to go looking for him.
• But why, my captain?

He says, because, the enemies will have already taken care of killing him and if he is alive he will already be so lost, you will not arrive in time and they could kill you. And he said:

• But, you see, he is my friend.

And so the young soldier was desperate, very desperate. Because he knew that his friend was alone and he took it and ran away. He left little by little, hid, escaped and went to the battlefield.

And the soldier deposited his friend on the ground and with a big smile and his eyes full of tears he said:

My captain, yes it was worth it. Because the moment I arrived, my friend looked at me and said:

I knew you wouldn't leave me! I knew you would come looking for me! That is why I have resisted! You have never let me down!

And saying those words, the friend went to the Light.

he had a smile on his face, a sweetness, because he knew that friendship is the greatest love we have. And that he wasn't alone, that his friend had come. For that, my captain, it was worth it.

They all remained silent, they put their hands on the backs of the brave soldier, the soldier whose life did not count for him. It was friendship, it was the love that he felt for his friend, and it was an honor to risk his life to prove friend who was there by his side.

This shows us very often that in moments when we least expect, we always have someone who gives us a hand, who opens his heart to us or who gives us 5 minutes of his life to save us, to help us, to heal and cure inner wounds. and external, that is true friendship and truth.
